Parental Consent Email Template

Below is a template teachers can use to request parental consent for pupils to access Languagenut.

It explains what the platform is, how it is used in school, and how parents can confirm whether they are happy for their child to be given access.

Dear Parent/Carer,

As part of our language learning programme, we would like your child to have access to Languagenut, an online language-learning platform used by schools worldwide to support teaching and learning in modern foreign languages.

Languagenut provides interactive activities, games, assessments and learning resources designed to support language acquisition both in school and at home.

To create your child’s account, the school will share limited personal data with Languagenut for educational purposes only, such as your child’s name and class details. Languagenut does not use student data for marketing purposes, and student accounts are designed with appropriate safeguards to protect children online.
