How to Access and Use Languagenut for the First Time (Student Guide)

🔑 Step 1: Log In

1. Go to: www.languagenut.com
2. Click on the "Login" button.
3. Enter the username and password provided by your class teacher.
4. Click Login to access your Languagenut dashboard.

📚 Step 2: View Your Assignments

1. On the dashboard, click “Assignments.”
2. New or outstanding assignments will be marked with an exclamation mark (!).
3. You’ll see:
   • Assignment name
   • Due date
   • Teacher instructions
   • Number of activities included

▶️ Step 3: Complete the Learning Phase

1. Click the Learning Phase activity link.
2. Listen to the audio provided.
3. Use these tools to support your learning:
   • Text size adjustment
   • Hide/show English or target language
   • Play button for slideshow mode
   • Snail icon to slow audio down by 30%

📝 Step 4: Practice Activities

1. After the learning phase, proceed to the Practice Phase.
2. Complete all assigned practice activities.
3. These help reinforce vocabulary and grammar in a structured way.

🧠 Step 5: Quiz Phase

1. Complete the Quiz Phase activities.
2. These are worth double points compared to Practice activities.
3. Completing the quiz will mark the task as finished in your assignment list.

🧭 Step 6: Access Independent Learning

Even outside of your assigned homework:

1. Click “Resources” in the menu.
2. Choose the language you're learning.
3. Browse all available resources in the left-hand panel.
4. On the right, view your class ranking and school ranking on the leaderboard.

• Audio features are available throughout for listening practice.
• Make use of text controls to personalise your learning experience.
• Check the leaderboard to see your progress compared to classmates and other schools.
