Integrating Languagenut with Canvas LMS

Integrating Languagenut with Canvas makes managing your account simple and seamless.

Once connected, your classes, students, and teachers will automatically sync with Languagenut, removing the need for manual updates and ensuring a smooth transition each and every year.

Step 1: Log into your Languagenut Admin Area

1. Log into Languagenut
2. Open the Admin Area.
3. Open Settings in the top right corner
4. Click Canvas LMS Integration.

Step 2: Generate a Developer Key in Canvas

To connect Languagenut to Canvas, you’ll need to create a Developer Key in Canvas.

1. Log into your Canvas Admin account.

3. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret provided by Canvas.
4. Return to the Canvas LMS Integration page in Languagenut and paste these details.
5. Click Save.

Step 3: Configure the Languagenut App in Canvas

Once your Developer Key has been saved in Languagenut, you can set up the app inside Canvas:

1. In Canvas, open the course where you want to add Languagenut.
2. Go to Settings in the course menu.
3. Select the Apps tab.
4. Click + App.

6. Enter the configuration details provided on the Languagenut integration page.

Step 4: Test the Integration

• Log into Canvas as a teacher or student and check that Languagenut appears in your course.
• Try launching Languagenut to confirm that accounts link correctly.
