Microphone issues

This guide will help you enable microphone access for the Languagenut app or website on various devices and browsers.

📱 iPad (App)

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Tap Privacy > Microphone.

3. Locate Languagenut and ensure the toggle is ON (green).

🌐 Safari on iPad (Website)

1. Log in to the Languagenut website.

2. Navigate to a speaking activity/game.

3. Refresh the page.

4. When prompted with:

“Languagenut.com would like to access the microphone”,

tap Allow.

🧭 Web Browsers (Desktop or Laptop)

To grant microphone access, click the padlock icon in the address bar and adjust microphone permissions.

Chrome

1. Click the padlock icon in the address bar.

2. Find Microphone, then select Allow.

3. Refresh the page.

Firefox

1. Click the padlock icon.

2. Under Permissions, find Use the Microphone.

3. Choose Allow.

4. Refresh the page if needed.

Microsoft Edge

1. Click the padlock icon.

2. Go to Permissions for this site.

3. Set Microphone to Allow.

4. Refresh the page.

📱 iPhone (App)

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Tap Privacy > Microphone.

3. Find Languagenut and toggle the switch to ON (green).

🤖 Android (App)

1. Open the Settings app.

2. Tap Apps & Notifications > See all apps.

3. Select Languagenut.

4. Tap Permissions > Microphone.

5. Select Allow.
